  • Willlingness to travel throughout New England, New York, and the Midwest during training.
  • Willingness to move to a needed location upon graduation from the program.
  • Completed physical, background checks, drug screen, and signed non-compete agreement.
  • Possible recruits are high school graduates, colleges, trade schools and people looking to start a new career.

  • Receive a bi-weekley draw while learning all aspects of TEAM EJP's business through observe and perform instruction.
  • Travel to different locations and see different parts of the Northeast and Midwest.
  • Housing and meals to be provided at remote training locations.
  • Transportation provided to remote locations (vans or mileage).
  • Graduation bonus to be paid out on the first year anniversary of graduation (1/3), and another will be paid on the second year anniversary of the student's graduation, (2/3). (Paid only to employees in good standing).

  • Average approx. 2 years to complete.
  • Open for 6-8 Students annually.
  • Students will receive training (instruction and hands on) on all aspects of our business.
  • Students will spend time working with experienced employees at all jobs within the company.
  • Students will spend time at different Divisions training to gain experience and knowledge.
  • As full time positions open up at different locations, qualified students will have an opportunity to apply for those positions.
  • Upon graduation, the student will be assigned a position the university and company feel he/she is best suited for.

  • Completed EJP New Hire training Program, all sections.
  • Complete and turn in Weekly progress report.
  • Meet quarterly with advisor to review progress and give and receive feedback on the program.
  • Observe and work yard personnel for 1 month.
  • Ride with Delivery personnel for 1 week.
  • Observe and work with Service Techs for 1 month.
  • Observe and work Inside Sales for 1 month.
  • Observe and work with Estimator for 1 month.
  • Travel with Outside Sales for 1 month.
  • Learn about and work with Accounts Receivable and Payable at both the Divisional and Home Office levels.
  • Observe and work with Manager for 1 month.
  • Receive class B CDL.
  • Observe and work with a water utility for 1 week.
  • Observe and work with contractor for 1 month.
  • Observe and work at a sister company for 2 weeks.
  • Complete various plant tours with vendors.
  • Competitive products training for 2 weeks.
  • Value Added Service Training.
  • Specifiable products training.
  • Complete effective writing course.
  • Complete observation skills training.
  • OSHA 10 hour course completion.
  • People management training.
  • Completed training and passed exams for all aspects of the AS 400 system.

Order entry, bids, contract orders, job master, inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, edits.

Other training sessions may be added as needed or suggested by either management or student to best suit the needs of the company and university.
