  2. Requirements for admission
    1. Desire to learn all aspects of the waterworks industry.
    2. Willlingness to travel throughout New England, New York, and the Midwest during training.
    3. Willingness to move to a needed location upon graduation from the program.
    4. Completed physical, background checks, drug screen, and signed non-compete agreement.
    5. Possible recruits are high school graduates, colleges and people looking to start a new career or change their current career.
  3. Benefits
    1. Earn a fair wage while learning all aspects of TEAM EJP's business in a hands on manner.
    2. Travel to different locations and see different parts of the Northeast and Midwest.
    3. Housing to be provided at remote training locations.
    4. Transportation provided to remote locations (vans or mileage).
    5. Graduation bonus to be paid out on anniversary of graduation 33% at completion, 33% at 1 year after graduation, 33% at 2 years after graduation).
  4. Program – Average approx. 2 years to complete
    1. Open for 6-8 Students.
    2. Students will receive training (instruction and hands on) on all aspects of our business.
    3. Students will spend time working with experienced employees at all jobs within the company.
    4. Students will spend time at different Divisions gaining experience and filling in for missing employees.
    5. As full time positions open up at different locations the students will have an opportunity to apply for those positions.
    6. Upon graduation the student will be assigned to a position that the company feels (s)he is best suited for.
  5. Graduation Requirements
    1. Completed EJP New Hire training Program, all sections.
    2. Complete and turn in Weekly progress report
    3. Meet quarterly with advisor to review progress and give and receive feedback on the program.
    4. Worked in a yard position for 1 month
    5. Ride with delivery personnel for 1 week.
    6. Worked with Service Techs for 1 month.
    7. Worked in Inside Sales for 1 month.
    8. Worked with Estimator for 1 month.
    9. Traveled with Outside Sales for 1 month.
    10. Work with Accounts receivable and payable at both the Divisional and Home Office levels.
    11. Worked with Manager for 1 month.
    12. Received class B CDL.
    13. Work with water utility for 1 week.
    14. Work with contractor for 1 month.
    15. Work at a sister company for 2 weeks.
    16. Complete various plant tours with vendors.
    17. Competitive products training for 2 weeks.
    18. Value Added Service Training.
    19. Specifiable products training.
    20. Complete effective writing course.
    21. Complete observation skills training.
    22. Completed training and passed exams for all aspects of the AS 400 system.
      1. Order entry, bids, contract orders, job master, inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, edits.
